As November marks worldwide Quality Month, our Quality & Compliance Manager, Chris Fletcher shares valuable insights into the essence of quality assurance at Fleetclear.

Going Beyond Satisfaction

At Fleetclear customer satisfaction isn’t the end goal it’s just the beginning. We aspire to excite our customers and build enduring relationships that fuel internal and external growth. Staying closely connected with end-users means that we can continue to develop innovative, relevant, and user-friendly products that cater to the evolving needs of the market.

A Collaborative Approach

Quality is a collaborative effort here that involves every facet of our organisation. From sales to production and installation teams, each department plays a critical role. Our CEO fosters a culture that prioritises quality management, whilst the finance team ensure meticulous stock taking. Likewise, the software development team contributes significantly to the ‘quality chain’ alongside its own internal quality protocols and processes.

Meeting Regulatory Standards

We operate in a realm of stringent vehicle type approvals and regulatory controls, and we must adhere to rigorous independent testing and certification procedures for all Fleetclear products. Every item produced is allocated a unique serial number, to facilitate traceability and compliance with Department of Transport standards.

Raising the Bar

Fleetclear has a proven track record of elevating industry benchmarks and spearheading the development of products that significantly enhance HGV fleet safety across numerous sectors. Notably, our innovative ‘protect and detect’ Cyclear™ cyclist warning system and Fleetclear Connect software that empowers users to monitor driver behaviour and all aspects of vehicle safety effortlessly, all through a unified web-based platform.

Commitment to Excellence

In an industry rife with substandard products and inconsistent suppliers, Fleetclear maintains an unwavering commitment to using top-tier raw materials and upholding supplier integrity. Our products are engineered to withstand the harshest environments, reinforcing our dedication to delivering long-lasting, purpose-built solutions. And they are all designed and manufactured in the UK.

Prioritising Customer Care

Our commitment to customers doesn’t end with a sale. Swift and effective resolution of any product failure or customer complaint is a priority. To that end we’ve invested in people and processes to ensure the prompt resolution of any issues. We also conduct thorough investigations into any failings to ensure learning and prevent reoccurrences.Increasingly we are being approached by fleet operators that are turning to us following bad experiences with suppliers who are just not reactive enough. Our close relationships with customers means that we have a deep understanding of their fleet operations and the challenges they are facing. For example, vehicle downtime is a major issue, and we want to be part of the solution not part of the problem. A responsive service is crucial. Our managed service offers the ultimate in proactive service provision. We monitor customers fleets on their behalf. Any discrepancies are picked up on the daily health check and dealt with immediately, often before the customer is even aware that there is a problem!

Feedback Welcome (Always)

To emphasise the value of feedback we actively encourage cross-departmental communication and the sharing of customer experiences. For those with limited direct customer contact it helps to gain insight into real customer needs and expectations. We also organise regular social gatherings and provide informal opportunities for staff to come together.

Data Integrity & Security

We recognise the relationship between quality and safety throughout every aspect of our business, and protecting customer data is of paramount importance. Our Cyber Essentials certification ensures that stringent measures are in place to safeguard data and protect our systems against cyber threats.
