Fleetclear launches upgrade of Anti-Roll and Driver ID solution

The latest upgrade significantly improves the speed and accuracy of the anti-roll away system and incorporates a new footprint RFID card and reader which has enhanced the reliability of the Driver ID feature.

Gavin Thoday, CEO, Fleetclear: We have long been associated with designing and supplying solutions to address the problems that fleet operators face in the day to day running of their fleets. The anti-roll away solution was developed some years ago with the aim of preventing vehicles from rolling forward or backward once the vehicle had been put into neutral. When used in tandem with the Driver ID feature, the system also prevents the vehicle from moving off without the correct ID authentication. We regularly work with customers to create feature updates and improvements to our product range and I'm pleased to say that this latest upgrade gives the system a fresh lease of life. Vehicle operators can be assured that they are always running the latest, most up to date and effective system from Fleetclear.

The new model is backwards compatible, so Fleetclear engineers can update any existing system in the field to the new model. Vehicle operators do not need to purchase new hardware to take advantage of the improvements, which are all achieved via a software and hardware upgrade.

Any existing system can be upgraded in approximately 2 hours. Scheduling of any upgrades is done remotely, so Fleetclear engineers can confirm ahead of a visit that the upgrade will be successful and seamlessly replace the existing system with the new model.
