Fleetclear continues to expand software development team

Abdul lives in Birmingham, where he was born and went to university gaining a BSC in Computer Science from the Birmingham City University. He started programming aged 14 and has worked as a software developer for a range of companies in the city including social media management and IP patent providers. He is skilled in commercial software development, with a track record in improving scheduling systems, developing analytical software and in his own words ‘coming up with imaginative ways’ to gather and process information.

Abdul, who started his position on 6 March explains what attracted him to the position at Fleetclear: “I am impressed with the architecture behind the Fleetclear Connect software. There are many intricacies and components, and it’s a powerful interface with lots of  benefits to the user.  The team and culture here also attracted me to the position; it’s a good working environment.”

Abdul’s hobbies include being ‘pretty decent’ at playing pool and badminton, and he has a passion for Anime.

Fleetclear installs solutions to over 60% of local authorities in the UK and is responsible for innovative commercial vehicle safety solutions including the Cyclear cyclist safety warning device, anti-rollaway and driver ID technology, superior camera recording systems and reverse radar.

It’s latest innovation Fleetclear Connect is an intuitive web-based fleet management software system suitable for all vehicle types that provides a simplified, user-friendly way to manage vehicles and drivers. It combines hardware with GPS tracking, telematics, driver behaviour, advanced data analysis and processing techniques.
